How to Check Your LinkedIn SSI Score
Checking your score is easy:
Step 1: Log into your LinkedIn account
If you want to log in on LinkedIn, go on LinkedIn.com
To sign in, you can use:
Your Google account
Or your email address

If you chose to sign in with email address, you just need to:
Give your email or phone number
Write your password
And then click on "Sign in"

Once you're connected, you just have to go on the LinkedIn Social Selling Index page.

Top Industry SSI Rank (Top Left): Compares your SSI score with others in your specific industry. This helps you understand how you rank relative to industry peers.
Top Network SSI Rank (Top Right): Shows how your SSI score compares to the broader LinkedIn network. It helps you gauge your performance against all LinkedIn users.
People in Your Industry (Bottom Left): Displays the average SSI score within your industry, as well as whether your score has changed in the past week.
People in Your Network (Bottom Right): Shows the average SSI score within your LinkedIn network, with a note on how your score has shifted in the past week.
What Is a Good LinkedIn SSI?
There’s no one-size-fits-all number, but here’s a rough guide:
70+: Excellent. You’re doing better than most people in your industry
50–70: Solid. But there’s room for improvement
Under 50: You’ve got work to do

This is the first and most visible part of your SSI score. If your profile isn’t optimized, you’re leaving points (and leads) on the table.
Make a good Profile Picture
Use a high-resolution, professional photo where you’re smiling and facing the camera.
Avoid selfies, group shots, or distracting backgrounds.
Ideal size: 400x400 pixels
Dress as you would in a client meeting
Look friendly and trustworthy
Good banner
Your banner is free real estate. Use it to explain what you do or showcase your business.
You can include:

Don’t just put your job title. Use your headline to speak directly to your audience.

If you have a LinkedIn free or Premium plan, you can find your Ideal Client using the LinkedIn search bar.
To start, type your search (don't worry, you will have access to all the filters afterwards)

Once you've made a search, you have access to all the filters like:
People
Companies
Posts
Jobs
Groups
Products
Services
Events
Courses
Schools
All filters (where you can find more useful filters)

💡 Pro tip: I recommend you to use "All filters" if you want to target something specific.
Find your Ideal Customer with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Sales Navigator is definitely better than the free plan of LinkedIn.
You have access to more than 40+ filters to identify your leads.
For example you have filters like:
Company size
Current job title (where you can use boolean operators to narrow down your search)
Seniority level
Years of experience
Geography
You even have access to some "intent data" like:
Posted on LinkedIn
Viewed your profile recently (these are warm leads)
Changed jobs
Connection (you can check leads
Connection (1st, 2nd or 3rd degree connection)
